eatslips Privacy Policy
In short
eatslips does not collect your data. Everything the app reads and records stays on your phone. There is no account, no server, no ads, and no tracking or usage analytics.
What the app uses on your phone
- Photos. The app asks to see your photos so it can find transfer slips. Text and QR codes are read on the phone using Apple's built-in frameworks. Photos never leave the phone. The app deletes or moves a photo only when you tell it to.
- Slip data and your money book. Amounts, dates, payer and payee names, categories, lend and save records, and settings are stored as files in the app's own space on your phone.
- Microphone and speech recognition. Used only when you tap to dictate an entry. The app requires speech to be turned into text on the phone. Audio is not sent anywhere and is not kept.
- Notifications. Reminders such as a repayment due date are scheduled on the phone. The app does not use server push notifications.
Buying eatslips Plus
Purchases and renewals are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your name, email or card details. The app only asks Apple's system on your phone whether this device has Plus. Payment data is handled under Apple's privacy policy.
Backups
If you turn on iPhone or iCloud backup, the app's files may be included in that backup according to your settings. That backup lives in your Apple account, and we cannot access it.
Sharing
We do not sell, share or receive your personal data, because it never leaves your phone to reach us.
Deleting your data
You can delete entries in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the phone, except backups you keep yourself in iCloud or on a computer.
Your rights (Thailand PDPA)
We do not collect or process your personal data on any system of ours. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Changes
If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before that version ships.
